A man of humble birth, he finds himself out of his depth when tragedy befalls Lucis. Prompto becomes fast friends with Noctis after a fateful encounter with Lady Lunafreya’s dog, Pryna, draws him closer to the crown prince. In combat, he wields spectral weapons which he forges from thin air, a power possessed by those of his royal line. Noctis has trouble articulating his feelings and is still trying to discover who he is, and his fate to eventually become king is only adding to that difficult process. Heir apparent to the Lucian throne, Noctis’ trials begin when he sets forth from the Crown City in order to wed Lady Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, only to discover his home has fallen to the empire.
You will also encounter other characters along your journey. Your party consists of these four characters, though a fifth guest member may join your party at certain points in the storyline.
