I have not noticed the virus causing any other problems on my computer. I have been unable to update the date and time through the Date and Time Properties dialog box.
I was using AVG Free edition and now I am using Microsoft Security Essentials. This causes my anti-virus to be out of date and I prevents me from downloading the latest updates. I believe I have a virus on my computer which causes the system time to be incorrect.
